Carbon Fibre Filament
Carbon-fibre reinforced filament from Siddament, for parts that need stiffness, dimensional stability or a machined-looking finish.
PLA-CF carries 15% carbon fibre by weight at 0.04mm particle size. The fibre hides layer lines so prints read as machined rather than 3D printed, it tolerates roughly 5–10°C more than standard PLA, and it flows exceptionally fast — around 36mm³/s on a Bambu hotend. PC-CF steps up to carbon-fibre reinforced polycarbonate for genuinely high-strength, high-temperature work.
Worth knowing before you buy: carbon fibre is a stiffness and finish upgrade, not a strength upgrade. PLA-CF is around a third weaker in tension than plain PLA+. We put the numbers side by side here: Is PLA-CF actually stronger than PLA+?
Both are abrasive. Run a hardened steel nozzle — we stock BIQU Panda Juicer hotends that suit.
